The teacher training course in the subject of sport includes basic concepts, models, theories and methods of the subject. The aim is to convey an understanding of the disciplinary structures of the subject of physical education and to lay the scientific foundations for educational and mediation work, with introductory didactic foundations also being included. The special structural feature of the teacher training course with the teaching subject sport is that the "theory and practice of sports" must be taken into account as an indispensable part of teacher training.
