The extraction, conversion and use of renewable, nuclear and fossil energies is a central field of research and technology in the 21st century. In view of the global challenge of sustainably supplying as many regions of the world as possible with energy, efforts in science, industry and politics worldwide are being directed towards the goal of further developing existing energy technologies and tapping new energy sources. This is where the Bayreuth Master's programme in Energy Technology comes in, enabling students to work competently and creatively on innovative solutions as engineers.

Bachelors Degree and School Leaving Certificates and Transcripts, German language proficiency test for international university applicants with a result of at least DSH 2, Test of German as a foreign language Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache, TestDaF with a result of at least 4 x TDN 4, German Language Certificate of the Education Ministers Conference, DSD - level two (DSD II), SD Zertifikat C2, Goethe-Zertifikat C2, telc Deutsch C1 Hochschule, certificate of the internal German language exam of the University of Bayreuth with Result corresponds to the DSH 2 level, English Language requirements: TOEFL 95 points, IELTS Academic minimum score of 7.0, Cambridge Certificate: Certificate in Advanced English CAE.
