Additional Information & Requirements

Bachelors degree at the University of Duisburg-Essen or an equivalent or comparable degree in the field of energy science, overall grade of the degree must usually be at least 3.0 or better, relevant course of study lasting at least four years with a first professional qualification and a total workload of at least 240 credits in the field of energy science from another university within the scope of the Higher Education Framework Act or a relevant degree with a total workload of at least 240 credits in the field of energy sciences from another university outside the scope of the Higher Education Framework Act, unless a significant difference in quality to a degree from a university, foreign university entrance qualification must pass the German language test for university entrance DSH 2 level or the TestDaF TDN 4 before starting their studies, must demonstrate English language skills corresponding to completed level B2 of the CEFR before starting their studies, proof of English as a high school diploma 7 points GK or LK or a school subject attended for at least four years at a secondary school or an English language test
