Program Overview

The main aim of this program is to give the students the necessary theoretical and practical tools and skills that will enable them to assume corresponding responsibilities in industry, research and development, administration and as self-employed specialists. The program's design ensures that the subject catalogues include modules that address relevant associated technical and business areas alongside those that convey well-founded basic and specialized knowledge. These modules serve to develop and promote interdisciplinary skills.

Bachelors degree or diploMA in the fields of Materials Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Structural Engineering or the Natural Sciences with an average grade of at least 2.5, degree programs in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Structural Engineering or the Natural Sciences for instance Chemistry, Physics, Biology to study the specific basics of materials engineering, materials physics/material science/powder materials/glass materials / structural and functional ceramics/silicate ceramic materials, Bachelor degree with a CGPA above 65%, B or better, 2.5 or better in the German grading scheme, prove English skills by a TOEFL or IELTS test, English language skills are required at the level of B2, which means that a TOEFL result of 550 paper based / 213 computer based / 79 - 80 internet based, a IELTS 6,5 points, or higher are mandatory, German programs require German language skills DSH, level 2 or TestDAF, level 4 - a Goethe certificate or other language tests
