"With the founding of the Civil Engineering Unit Ruhr on the basis of a cooperation agreement between the Faculty of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen and the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at the Ruhr University Bochum, it is time for civil engineering students enrolled at one of the two universities can acquire creditable examinations at the other university; it is also possible to carry out the master's thesis at the other ""external"" faculty."

Additional Information & Requirements

Bachelors degree in civil engineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen or an equivalent degree from another domestic or foreign degree in accordance with Section 63a HG University, overall grade of the degree must be 3.0 or better, Proficiency in English Language Requirements: TOEFL pBT min 500 points, cBT min 200 points, or iBT, min 80 points, IELTS test with a score of at least 6.0, Cambridge B2 First Certificate, formerly known as Cambridge English: First FCE, Foreign applicants are required to provide evidence of German proficiency to DSH 2 level, evidence of your proficiency in German:German language test for entrance to higher education with an overall level of at least DSH 2, German language diploma level II of the KMK Standing Conference DSD II, telc C1 Hochschule certificate with an overall of ausreichend or higher, TestDaF certificate in ALL subsections to level TDN 4 or higher, Zentrale Oberstufenpr fung ZOP certificate from the Goethe Institute, Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom and/or Gro es Deutsches Sprachdiplom, Successful completion of the Studienkolleg assessment test
