Program Overview

The master's program consists of two specializations, nanoprocess technology and nano electronics. It is intended to deepen the qualifications acquired in the Bachelors program and also to impart skills that not only serve to apply scientific methods in the field of nanotechnology to complex problems, but also to analyze and further develop them independently. Depending on the choice of specialization, there is a pronounced exemplary focus on one of the application areas.

Additional Information & Requirements

Bachelors degree in NanoEngineering at the University of Duisburg-Essen, an equivalent degree in the fields of engineering or natural sciences, usually determined when the average grade of all graded performances of the required previous course, weighted with the credits, is 2.5 or better, Proficiency in English Language Requirements: TOEFL pBT min 500 points, cBT min 200 points, or iBT, min 80 points, IELTS test with a score of at least 6.0, Cambridge B2 First Certificate, formerly known as Cambridge English: First FCE, Foreign applicants are required to provide evidence of German proficiency to DSH 2 level, evidence of your proficiency in German:German language test for entrance to higher education with an overall level of at least DSH 2, German language diploma level II of the KMK Standing Conference DSD II, telc C1 Hochschule certificate with an overall of ausreichend or higher, TestDaF certificate in ALL subsections to level TDN 4 or higher, Zentrale Oberstufenpr fung ZOP certificate from the Goethe Institute, Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom and/or Gro es Deutsches Sprachdiplom, Successful completion of the Studienkolleg assessment test
