Program Overview

Materials play a key role in many applications and innovations. In doing so, they form a bridge between various fields of knowledge, for example from microbiology to medicine and energy technology. Therefore, in the M. Sc. Materials science enables you to approach and solve complex material problems across disciplines. The technical, scientific and conceptual skills to be imparted are primarily knowledge and skills relating to the various classes of materials and the methods of their characterization and analysis. The aim is to promote the understanding of the interrelationships between structure-property relationships and their attitudes / changes through technological processes.
