"Today's problems can no longer be solved with the help of individual scientific disciplines alone. Rather, interdisciplinary approaches are needed in order to understand the networked interaction of influencing factors and to be able to sensibly control future developments. The ""Environmental Systems and Resource Management"" study program is therefore not only aimed at graduates of applied systems science, but also of the ""classic"" subjects (mathematics, computer science, physics, etc. ) who would like to acquire the tools of the trade beyond their specialist focus.Environmental research is at the heart of the course. Natural and social science approaches complement each other here. The focus of the studies is on the analysis of environmental systems and the management of natural resources."
