From the soil, to plants, and into the atmosphere: Geo-ecologists study natural and anthropogenic ecosystems such as lakes, forests, fields, brownfield sites, and landfills. They look for ways to deal with the environment in a sustainable way, and develop strategies to solve environmental problems.
