Program Overview

Geoscience examines temporal and spatial changes in Earth s system, changes that are linked to the features and material composition of geo matter by observing, measuring and modelling. The dimensions range from the smallest temporal and spatial units atmospheric discharges or crystalline structures up to the age of Earth, the global continental drift and mantle convection. The diverse interactions require intensive co-operation among very different disciplines.

Bachelor s degree or comparable degree in a similar or related subject, if you are not already enrolled at Goethe-University Frankfurt:a university entrance qualification e.g. A-Levels, certified copy of your Bachelor's degree certificate, if the Bachelor's degree has not yet been completed: a transcript of records or equivalent document listing the content of the study programme and average grade, Letter of recommendation from the supervisor of your Bachelor's thesis , Letter of Motivation, if the first degree was obtained at an international higher education institution:certificate of German language skills, need to submit other documents depending on your country of origin and your previous education, DSH-2-test (or an equivalent certificate)-TestDaF, Goethe certificate C2, KMK examination: German language diploma second class (DSD II) with level C1 throughout, Telc German C1 higher education, KDS and GDS, Deutsche Sprachpr fung II
