Program Overview

Vision is a water management that acknowledges the multifaceted threats to human life and well being imposed by overuse and overexploitation of freshwater resources and the ecosystems providing the resources. Past experience has proven that mere engineering is not sufficient. Water management needs to integrate ecology and economy, engineering and social sciences, to be able to come up with long-term, i.e. sustainable solutions.

University degree BSc M.Sc Diploma, State Examination Staatsexamen in Environmental Sciences, Natural Sciences, Life Sciences, Water Sciences, Landscape Ecology, Civil Engineering, Water Management, Land Management, degree from a University of Professional Education B.Sc, M.Sc, Fachhochschul-Diplom, HBO diploma in Environmental Sciences, Natural Sciences, Life Sciences, Water Sciences, Landscape Ecology, Civil Engineering, Water Management, Land Management, statement of motivation for studying TWM, certificates of the relevant eligible academic degree copy; an English translation prepared by an officially-registered translator will be necessary in case the certificate is not in English, German or Dutch language; copies of all transcripts or other academic records that give proof of the undergraduate studies including credits and grades achieved in each single subject; an English translation prepared by an officially-registered translator will be necessary in case the certificate is not in English, German or Dutch language; two photographs; copy of the passport; a CV European format, IELTS 6.5 overall band score, TOEFL > 90 internet based or > 575 paper based, CAE or CPE mark C or higher
