The aim of the African Studies/African Linguistics programme is to teach and develop expert knowledge in the area of African studies as well as knowledge of related themes. The programme s focus is, on the one hand, on training young academics for linguistic research carried out in Africa, and on the other hand, on African linguistics with an interdisciplinary approach including social as well as communication and literary content.
Bachelor s degree in empirical linguistics with an African focus, or equivalent degree in a German or non-German African or linguistics Bachelor s programme,Bachelor s degree certificate, if the Bachelor's degree has not yet been completed:a transcript of records or equivalent document listing the content of the study programme and average grade, if the first degree was obtained at an international higher education institution:certificate of German language skills, need to submit other documents depending on your country of origin and your previous education, DSH-2-test (or an equivalent certificate)-TestDaF, Goethe certificate C2, KMK examination: German language diploma second class (DSD II) with level C1 throughout, Telc German C1 higher education, KDS and GDS, Deutsche Sprachpr fung II
