Program Overview

At the heart of the international Master of Arts in Social and Cultural Anthropology is an analytical anthropology aimed at contributing to the explanation of fundamental societal issues through ethnographic fieldwork and intercultural comparisons. The study will cover current issues such as migration, urban and rural transformation, consumption, governance, family change, natural resource management, and climate change through different regions of the world. The program is one of the nation's largest MA programs in ethnology. It offers students a very good support ratio and a wide range of courses.
