Program Overview

The North American Studies (NAS) course includes an interdisciplinary approach to history, culture, art, literature, language, film, philosophy, media theory, politics and society, economics and law and international law in North America, ie Canada and the United States, as well as the Caribbean and Latin America. The aim is to develop a broad knowledge of the literary and cultural history of North America and to introduce relevant theories and methods in literature, culture, and media. The goals of the NAS master's program extend the cultural, intercultural, communicative and media skills that can be used for the international job market
