Program Overview

The master's degree in conference interpreting usually builds on a translation-related bachelor's degree, but can in principle be studied on the basis of any degree if you have the appropriate foreign language skills. In addition to a high level of competence in the German language, level C1 Common European Framework of Reference for Languages is required for at least one other foreign language. During your studies, you will deepen your theoretical and methodical knowledge and application-oriented skills in interpreting consecutive and simultaneous interpreting and gain insights into selected professional fields through simulated conferences, projects or excursions.
