The binational master's degree German as a foreign language in an Arabic-German context is a joint offer of the Herder Institute at the University of Leipzig and the EZ DAAF Center of Excellence at the Pedagogical Faculty of the Ain Shams University in Cairo. As a consecutive, research-oriented course with a regional focus, it combines the strengths of both partners and leads to a degree from both universities (joint degree).
