Program Overview

Osnabr ck German Studies deals with German literature, language and culture in a European context. It is viewed as a combination of three sub-subjects: Modern German Literature (NDL), Older German Literature ( DL) in conjunction with Early Modern Literature (FN) and German Linguistics (SW). From the third semester, students can specialize -- two are chosen from the three sub-subjects offered. An interdisciplinary exchange with other subjects is planned.

The admission requirements for the course are a bachelor's degree or an equivalent degree in German Studies with a German component of at least 63 credit points.
