Program Overview

The master's program German Linguistics offers a well-founded overview of various language theories and theoretical discourses as well as methods of empirical research. The focus is on the scientific examination of various forms of linguistic action in German. The students expect a diverse research environment, ranging from language acquisition, education and language teaching on cognitive linguistics, contact linguistics, speech typology and speech psychology to regional language research (especially Low German), media linguistics and German as a foreign language or as a second language.
