The master's degree in German Classics in a European Context deals with the core epoch of German literature and the history of philosophy. It is interdisciplinary and research-oriented, leads to in-depth knowledge of the constitutional phase of German-language literature and philosophy around 1800 and enables scientific research, presentation and discussion. The historical perspective on the Enlightenment, Classical and Romanticism in Germany is combined with a look at their European context as well as their impact / problem history and current validity. This will expand and consolidate your literary methodological knowledge
