The one-year Master's program builds on the four-year Bachelor's program. He provides in-depth scientific training in Greek philology, which is generally oriented towards the study of the ancient sciences and can serve as a scientific qualification for different professions. It aims to provide students with an in-depth understanding of the ancient culture of exemplary objects. The cultural-historical relations between Greco-Roman antiquity and subsequent epochs of European culture should receive special attention here.

Bachelor s degree or comparable degree in a similar or related subject, if you are not already enrolled at Goethe-University Frankfurt:a university entrance qualification e.g. A-Levels, certified copy of your Bachelor's degree certificate, if the Bachelor's degree has not yet been completed: a transcript of records or equivalent document listing the content of the study programme and average grade, letter of recommendation from your supervisor, proof of current enrollment in the bachelor program,Certifications: Admission requirements are Graecum, Latinum, and English (B2), Explanation to the examination claim, if the first degree was obtained at an international higher education institution:certificate of German language skills, need to submit other documents depending on your country of origin and your previous education, DSH-2-test (or an equivalent certificate)-TestDaF, Goethe certificate C2, KMK examination: German language diploma second class (DSD II) with level C1 throughout, Telc German C1 higher education, KDS and GDS, Deutsche Sprachpr fung II
