Program Overview

As the first Master's degree course of its kind in Germany, the Master of Peace and Security Studies (MPS) focuses on a two-semester, interdisciplinary study program combining peace and security knowledge acquisition with practical exercises. In doing so, trans-disciplinary as well as interdisciplinary (natural, social and legal sciences) are used. The aim of the degree program is to introduce highly qualified graduates of German and foreign universities as well as academically educated practitioners to basic peace-related and security policy topics and approaches.

240 credits / credits acquired in the preliminary studies, a degree with a degree above average from a German or foreign university or a successfully completed degree from a German or foreign university and proof of above-average professional experience in the field of peace studies or security policy, Good language skills in German and English,CV, Transcript of records, TOEFL ibT of 92, C1 Advanced of 180 , letter of motivation, English skills , IELTS of 6.5
