Program Overview

Sports didactic competency is the focus of the sports teacher training programme at Bayreuth's Department of Sports Science. You study in sports seminars that integrate theory and practice in a didactically and methodologically demanding way. In addition, we place great emphasis on real teaching situations, in which you encounter children and adolescents in PE lessons. We achieve this through cooperation projects with schools and special class formats.

Bachelors Degree and School Leaving Certificates and Transcripts, German language proficiency test for international university applicants DSH with a result of at least DSH 1, Test of German as a foreign language,Test Deutsch als Fremdsprache, TestDaF with a result of at least 14 points - no part under TDN 3, SD Zertifikat B2, Goethe-Zertifikat B2, telc Deutsch B2, B2 certificate IIK Bayreuth, certificate of the internal German language exam of the University of Bayreuth with Result corresponds to the DSH 1 level, English Language requirements: TOEFL 95 points, IELTS Academic minimum score of 6,5, Cambridge Certificate: First Certificate in English FCE, Proof can also be provided by submitting a German Abitur certificate if it certifies an English level of B2.
