The course examines art and artistic practice in public space and relates them to fields of social action. Based on a subject-related scientific-artistic examination, the master's program with its three profile areas (extracurricular cultural and educational work, mediation of art and media, artistic communication in a social context) offers specific focal points in different fields of practice.The focus of research in Osnabr ck lies in the development of art education strategies in connection with one's own artistic practice. Professionally equipped workshops in the fields of sculpture, printing, painting, photography, graphic design as well as scenic art and media art are available for students to work on. Additional Information & Requirements

"The completion of a bachelor's degree of at least 6 semesters in art or art education with at least 60 credit points is a prerequisite for studying the master's degree in ""Art and Communication"". Academic degrees in the fields of cultural sciences, media studies and related fields with artistic-aesthetic components of at least 40 credit points are recognized as equivalent after individual assessment. "
