"The Master's program ""Literature and Culture in Europe"" offers an interdisciplinary, comparative study of European literature and cultures from a historical perspective since the 18th century. The course offers the language areas German, English, French, Italian and Spanish in different combinations.The special feature of the consecutive specialist Osnabr ck Master's program lies in the targeted integration of literary and cultural studies perspectives in the investigation of the European cultural and linguistic area in its commonalities as well as its diversity. Above all, the course aims to develop a strong knowledge of the formation and change of modern European literatures and cultures, emphasizing their intercultural references and similarities as well as their mutual differentiation."
