Komedia is an interdisciplinary course that imparts knowledge and skills in the field of new media and human-computer interaction from the perspectives of computer science, psychology and business administration. In the research-oriented course, students acquire skills for researching digital media, taking into account scientific findings. Specializations are computer science, psychology or social media and professional communication.

Additional Information & Requirements

Bachelors degree in Applied Cognitive and Media Science from the University of Duisburg-Essen or an equivalent degree; the Bachelors degree must be at least good 2.5 or better, foreign university entrance qualification must pass the German language test for university entrance DSH 2 level or the TestDaF TDN 4 before starting their studies, international students:German language test for entrance to higher education with an overall level of at least DSH 2, German language diploma (level II) of the KMK Standing Conference DSD II, telc C1 Hochschule certificate with an overall of sufficient or higher, TestDaF certificate in ALL subsections to level TDN 4 or higher, Central Oberstufenpr fung ZOP certificate from the Goethe Institute, Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom and/or Gro es Deutsches Sprachdiplom, Successful completion of the Studienkolleg assessment test, Completed degree program in German Studies within the EU or the CIS xountries
