The master's degree in medical technology offers the opportunity to acquire a second professional qualification in the field of medical technology. The master's program is intended to deepen the qualifications acquired in the first professional degree and also to impart skills that serve not only to apply scientific methods in the field of medical technology to complex problems, but also to analyze and further develop them. The students of this master's course are also enabled to communicate on the same level with doctors and engineers.

Additional Information & Requirements

Bachelors degree in medical technology at the University of Duisburg-Essen or, an equivalent natural or engineering degree with a scope of at least 180 ECTS credits, overall grade of the degree must usually be at least 2.5 or better, Proficiency in English Language Requirements: TOEFL pBT min 500 points, cBT min 200 points, or iBT, min 80 points, IELTS test with a score of at least 6.0, Cambridge B2 First Certificate, formerly known as Cambridge English: First FCE, Foreign applicants are required to provide evidence of German proficiency to DSH 2 level, evidence of your proficiency in German:German language test for entrance to higher education with an overall level of at least DSH 2, German language diploma level II of the KMK Standing Conference DSD II, telc C1 Hochschule certificate with an overall of ausreichend or higher, TestDaF certificate in ALL subsections to level TDN 4 or higher, Zentrale Oberstufenpr fung ZOP certificate from the Goethe Institute, Kleines Deutsches Sprachdiplom and/or Gro es Deutsches Sprachdiplom, Successful completion of the Studienkolleg assessment test
