Program Overview

Within this master's degree, you will be able to work independently in scientific research in the field of experimental and molecular nutritional sciences: after an introduction to current fields of nutritional sciences, topics will be dealt with at the molecular, cellular and organism level. The focus of the course content is the critical examination of the existing knowledge and the consistent analysis of the evidence of the existing data. The implementation of the theoretical skills learned in practical laboratory work is the focus of the master's training. Extensive knowledge about and practical training in biochemical, molecular biological and cell biological methods is imparted, as is working with various model organisms and conducting human studies.
