The Chemistry Master s study program is part of the consecutive chemistry study program. It builds on the University of Stuttgart s 6-semester Bachelor s in Chemistry program or on an equivalent B.Sc. earned in another university s B.Sc. program. Besides providing an advanced education in the core subjects of chemistry, the program puts priority on the goal of preparing students to do active research or go for a doctorate in chemistry.

Bachelor s degree of at least six semester s length (or equivalent qualification), Degree in the particular study program or a study program with very similar content, Average grade on the final high school transcript, Weighted individual grades on the final high school transcript, Test German as Foreign Language-TestDaF level 4 or better in all f partial examinations, German Language Diploma-Level II (DSD II), C2 -GDS-Large German Language Diploma, Large or Small German Language Diploma or Central Senior Class Exam (ZOP), German Language Examination II of the Language and Interpreter Institute in Munich, German Bachelor's, Master's or Diploma Degree of a study program taught in German, IELTS (band 6) Certificate or TOEFL (minimum score: 550 paper based, 213 computer based, 79 internet based).
