MSc in Technomathematics

2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Wuppertal University

Program Overview

The master's program in Technomathematics combines mathematics with high-tech applications from the engineering sciences. Solving technical problems not only requires the ability to apply existing mathematics. Mathematical models often have to be set up first, which often leads to new mathematics. The implementation of the models on ever more powerful computers and the calibration of the model parameters using data are further important steps in order to be able to predict the properties of new products on the computer, for example. With the Master in Technomathematics, graduates acquire theoretical and practical knowledge that prepares them for highly qualified work in industry.
