Modern biochemistry has now developed into a multifaceted subject. A differentiation is very often made according to the processed organisms or according to central questions or thematic complexes. In addition to a broad in-depth study of biochemistry, three study profiles are formed based on the research profiles and expertise of the working groups involved, which play a central role in today's biochemistry.
