Program Overview

The Biotechnical Chemistry master's program has a modular structure. The course is divided into a one-year specialist phase and a one-year research phase. The focus of the first year is in-depth lectures on modern areas of bioinorganic and bioorganic chemistry1 which introduce the state of the art in research. The teaching content is supplemented by appropriate internships1 which can also be carried out in the working groups. Furthermore1 the basics of microreaction technology1 nanotechnology and quantum chemistry are taught. It is expected that applicants already have a very good knowledge of chemical and biotechnical basics and good knowledge of biochemistry and physics. Familiarity with the thinking and working methods of chemists is a prerequisite
