"Bachelors degree in chemistry at the University of Duisburg-Essen or an equivalent or comparable course of study in the field of chemistry or a natural science related to chemistry, foreign university entrance qualification must pass the ""German language test for university entrance DSH 2 level or the TestDaF TDN 4 before starting their studies, must demonstrate sufficient knowledge of German by passing the TestDaF or DSH test procedure when registering for the course, In the case of submission according to the TestDaF procedure, a grade of 4/4/4/4 must be proven, in the case of the DSH exam at least 40 points must be proven, Good knowledge of English, both spoken and written if possible, is indispensable for a scientific degree, especially with regard to the Master's degree, which is conducted exclusively in English."
