Program Overview

The Master's degree in Chemistry of Materials is strongly research-oriented. Graduates with a degree in natural sciences can primarily be employed in facilities for materials chemical research and development, but also in quality assurance and control as well as in sustainability assessment. Particularly high-performing students are recommended to pursue a doctorate after completing their master's degree. The content orientation of the course on current research topics and specific areas of application can be designed individually by taking the corresponding elective modules, in particular by choosing a more analytical or computer-aided focus.
