Physics - Master of Science

2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Osnabrueck University

Program Overview

"The master's degree in physics enables in-depth scientific studies with a specialization in a research area. There is close contact between the research groups and the students: Collaboration in experimental physics, theoretical physics, numerical physics and didactics of physics is possible early on in the course. The consecutive specialist Master's course is designed as a research-oriented full-time course and concludes with the degree ""Master of Science"". In addition to the classic focal points in solid state physics, optics, surface physics, computational physics and theoretical physics, interdisciplinary contact with neighboring disciplines is of great importance - especially where physical aspects and mathematical-quantitative relationships are important in modern research. These include in particular the areas of biophysics, physical chemistry and nanostructured matter."
