Program Overview

The aim of the master's degree is to deepen the knowledge and methods of experimental acquisition, storage, processing, visualization and evaluation of biological data acquired in the bachelor's degree, with particular reference to current scientific knowledge. In addition, the students are instructed to work independently according to the scientific principles of bioinformatics and genome research.

Bachelors degree from an English-speaking institution, Foreign University entrance qualification or have completed a Studienkolleg in Germany, school-leaving certificate, certificates of courses of study diploma and transcript of records, Additional documents CV; summary of your thesis, letter of motivation, certified copies of original certificates and translations in German or English, Proof of German language skills:TestDaF:at least level TDN 4 in all four exam parts or a total of 16 with at least TDN 4 in the exam part Writing, DSH-Pr fung: with a result of DSH-2 or DSH-3, telc German C1 University, Goethe-Certificate C2 : Great German Language Diploma Goethe-Institut, Deutsches Sprachdiplom der Kultusministerkonferenz Stufe II with level C1 in the Writing part and one additional part, Austrian Language Diploma C2 SD C2, Assessment test Studienkolleg, Language certificate TOEFL (iBT) minimum of 87 points/telc English minimum Level B2/equivalent qualification
