The research-oriented consecutive master's degree in bioinformatics builds on a bachelor's degree preferably computer science or biology. It provides you with scientifically sound training in several research areas at the interface between computer science and biology. The central concern of the Bioinformatics master's program is the acquisition of in-depth technical knowledge in selected sub-areas of computer science, biology, mathematics and natural sciences combined with the ability to conduct independent basic or application-oriented research.
