The two-subject master's degree in archeology is offered as a joint course of study in prehistory and early history (UFG), classical archeology (KA), archeology of the Roman provinces (AdRP), Egyptology ( GY) and archaeological informatics (ArchIT). At the beginning of their studies, students choose one of the five subject areas.

Transcripts from the previously attended schools, Bachelors degree in the relevant subject, German language proficiency on the C1-C2 level of the Common European Framework. (DSH-2 or DSH-3*, TestDaF with at least 4 in each of the four examination parts, Deutsches Sprachdiplom KMK -- Second Level (DSD II), C2 Certificate by Goethe Institut), Resume, Letters of reccomendation
