The master's course serves to expand and deepen your knowledge of the prehistoric and early historical development of Europe.Against the background of current research questions and methods, the teaching areas in the course include the following periods: Paleolithic and Mesolithic; Neolithic, Bronze Age and Iron Age;Roman Imperial Era, Migration Period and Early Middle Ages. In addition to lectures, seminars and exercises, the curriculum includes excavation internships and excursions to site monuments and museums.
