MA in Cultures of premodern European culture and society

The similarities and differences between pre-modern cultures in antiquity, the Middle Ages and the early modern period, as well as their history, literature, language and art are the focus of the interdisciplinary major Cultures of Pre-Modern Europe. This gives you the opportunity to deal intensively with the time before 1800 and to focus on the history of language and literature, art and culture as well as the history of politics, economy and society.
