Program Overview

The Masters degree program in E-Government is a research-oriented program that qualifies graduates with regard to the introduction of information and communication technology in various areas of the public sector. It builds on the skills acquired in Bachelors degree programs such as Wirtschaftsinformatik, Informationsmanagement, Informatik and similar. The Masters degree program represents a customized approach to information system design and application as well as to IT management for governments and public administrations.

Bachelors degree in Wirtschaftsinformatik, Informatik or Informationsmanagement or an equivalent degree with the grade Good at least 2.5 or better. Graduates with the grade 'Satisfactory' may be admitted if a positive study prognosis can be assumed. Englisch Level B2, Bachelor degree with a CGPA above 65%, B or better, 2.5 or better in the German grading scheme, prove English skills by a TOEFL or IELTS test, English language skills are required at the level of B2, which means that a TOEFL result of 550 paper based / 213 computer based / 79 - 80 internet based, a IELTS 6,5 points, or higher are mandatory, German programs require German language skills DSH, level 2 or TestDAF, level 4 - a Goethe certificate or other language tests
