Program Overview

Students will be assigned to both the Division of Gender Studies and a subject department. Students need to complete 8 units from the Gender Studies Programme, fulfill the requirements of the subject department and submit a written thesis in order to graduate. The requirements of subject disciplines maybe adjusted at the discretion of subject departments.

Have some knowledge of gender studies, Have good background in their intended field of concentration. Applicants may come from a variety of backgrounds. On their application forms, applicants must indicate the subject discipline for which they wish to be considered. Meanwhile, applicants must present a research proposal providing a brief description of the intended research topic, objectives, and methods. The research proposal should use the academic method and approach characteristic of the applicants intended subject discipline to explore a topic involving issues of gender. Applications will be jointly considered by the Gender Studies Programme and the subject department. Obtained a Bachelor's degree from a recognized university.TOEFL: 550(Paper Based)/79 ( Internet Based), IELTS(Academic):6.5, GMAT(Verbal): Band 21.
