Masters in Social Pedagogy

The purpose of the training is to train social pedagogues, who provide assistance using theoretical knowledge about the functioning and disorders of society, interpersonal relationships, deviance, groups with special needs, education, development and social professional assistance in public education, social, child welfare and child protection foundations and specialist care environments. . Primarily, they improve the social integration of children and youth, as well as their families, groups and communities, and the life chances and quality of life of the disadvantaged and those in need of social care. Their activities are based on individual and community responsibility, social justice, democratic thinking, and human and children's rights, and aim to restore social relations. Another goal, the training of professionals with a high level of professional knowledge who are able to responsibly carry out research, expert, educational, decision-making, management, planning and organizational tasks to be carried out independently or in groups in social pedagogic arenas. They are prepared to continue their studies in doctoral training.
