Masters in Art History

2 Years On Campus Masters Program

Károli Gáspár Reformed University

Program Overview

The master's degree in art history partly enables an in-depth study of the specific questions and methods of the science from the Middle Ages to the present day, and partly introduces students to practical art history work and its interrelationships through the specialization in Monument Protection - museology. The backbone of the training is provided by courses that review the great eras of universal and Hungarian art history, special issues of museology and monument protection, as well as various areas of dealing with contemporary art (e.g. curatorial knowledge).
