Program Overview

The aim of the master's program in theater studies is to train specialists who are able to reflect on the nature of the theater event from both a theoretical and historical point of view. They have detailed knowledge of the historically and sociologically changing forms and development process of European and Hungarian drama and theater culture. They are aware of the theater science aspects of the various disciplines, are familiar with issues of theater production and management, and have adequate knowledge to carry out theater history research and to continue their studies in the framework of doctoral training.
