Program Overview

"Earth science education at the Faculty of Science and Informatics of the University of Szeged (SZTE TTIK) has serious traditions. Although between 1922 and 1940 there was no specialized graduate training in Szeged, a number of secondary school teachers majoring in natural history-geography and natural history-chemistry obtained their doctorates in geology here during this period as well. Many of them later became renowned university lecturers and leading industrial geologists, while others ensured high-quality education for the following generations as ""scientist teachers"" in secondary education."
