Program Overview

The subject network of the training was designed in such a way that in addition to historical topics, in close connection with them, we also emphasized the acquisition of the digital competencies necessary for the cultivation of the profession. The disciplinary basis of the training is provided by social history, within which the early modern period and the 19th and 20th century. applicants can choose from 20th century specializations. Specially professional subjects include historiography and source knowledge courses, courses dealing with the history of various social groups and certain social history problems, as well as research methodology courses. With the help of the IT subjects presented in the training, the students become able to independently collect data related to their own research topic, store it efficiently, manage it, manipulate it, analyze and represent visually. In addition, they should know and be able to use the software solutions required for this.
