The purpose of the training is to train nursing health science specialists who, with their special expert knowledge, have complex decision-making abilities and a wider scope of competence in clinical practice. They have the knowledge of life sciences, health sciences, nursing, nutrition, physiotherapy, medicine, and social sciences, with particular regard to clinical, diagnostic, therapeutic and specialist nursing knowledge, which enable them to work independently in complex and extended areas of responsibility in patient care, critical thinking in accordance with their specialization, for the practical application of acquired knowledge
