The purpose of the training is to train specialists who are able to effectively model and solve problems that appear in real life, in the technical and natural sciences, in industry and in the economy. The curriculum follows relevant SIAM international recommendations, emphasizing application-oriented mathematics, experience-based applications, modeling and communication skills, teamwork, computer programming and high-performance computing.
