Program Overview

The purpose of the training is to train specialists who know the history, current situation and relations with Hungary of the Balkans and the wider South-Eastern European region, and are therefore capable of starting independent research and teaching work related to the region. They acquire practical expert knowledge, with which they are able to find employment in the public and private sector, standing their ground thanks to their useful knowledge of the region. They are able to communicate in the region not only with the help of world languages (mainly English), but also in at least two languages of the region. They are prepared to continue their studies in doctoral training.
