Program Overview

The training of certified romologists (Beas language and culture or Romani language and culture or Gypsy minority ethnology specialization) who know the culture (including the language), the history of the Gypsy/Roma people in Hungary and other European countries, their customs, traditions, legal and social situation. Graduates are prepared to participate in ethnographic, anthropological, linguistic, sociological research as organizers and assistants, and then to conduct and lead research independently.
